Quotable:
“We plan on winning this one, it’s a great race but more importantly, we have to go rounds. You cannot go out second round at the first race of the Countdown and not win the next couple of races and expect to win a championship. We’re going to put our heads down, I’m going to drive like a machine, and just be the guy that has earned those eight championships because it’s now or never. Period.”

Quotable:
“We continued to show that we have a good race car last weekend in Reading, although it feels like we’re just scraping the surface. We have a lot of potential both from the car’s perspective and me as a driver, which is something that I’m super excited about. Looking forward to getting right back into the seat this weekend in Charlotte. I’ve never run at Charlotte, but I’ve obviously been to the facility when we ran the four-wide event there earlier this year, so I know a little bit about what to expect as far as the track goes. We have a big event on Thursday night, ‘Bourbon, Beer, and Burnouts’ to benefit Speedway Children’s Charities, in our Champions’ Club hospitality, which will be awesome. We also have a meet-and-greet at Michael Waltrip’s Taproom on Saturday after qualifying, so I think overall, it’s just going to be a really fun weekend and I’m looking forward to meeting lots of new people, and hopefully, some really great racing.”
